Our Facilities
At Big Water Campground when you stay with us, your family will have unlimited access to all of our facilities. We have two large, sandy beach areas, walking and hiking trails, atv trails, kayak and canoe rentals, large and private campsites, toilets throughout the park and various activities throughout the summer months.

Park is Now Open!!! We welcome Campers to the 2012 season. We welcome all Canadian Mining Expo guests (enjoy your stay in our community).
Bigwater Campground has been updating our software infrastructure, we have added a couple changes, during the 2012 summer season we will be integrating these changes, we thank you for patience and welcome your feedback.
Welcome to Big Water Campground:
We look forward to devoting an ever increasing amount of time to this “new to us” enterprise. When this opportunity arose, we thought it would be a good fit for our family. I have worked locally as a forester and we have operated a tree service business for fifteen years. Marian brings organizing and public relation skills from years of involvement in Timmins Minor Hockey and other local, non-profit organizations. Our two oldest children, Forrest and Hunter, have already fled the nest pursuing careers in business and sports. Tanya, our youngest who is also active in sports, finishes high school soon. We hope they return during the summer months to play a role in the family business for a few years to come. Fishing, hunting, canoeing and camping are a family past time. Our objective is to retain the “woodsy” feeling of Big Water Campgrounds while making it a fun destination for all ages. There is a spot for you whether you are tenting or driving a motor home. We invite you to stay and visit with us while enjoying all that the Timmins area has to offer.
